Hello All,

I have an Underwood M1 Carbine with a lined-out Inland receiver in the 600K's. Barrel is marked with the "flaming bomb" and 9-43. I can't see beneath the type-two ramped rear site to see the "U", but I have to think it's there. There are the remnants of the flaming bomb on the bevel. The rifle is not original, in that it has a bayonet lug, the flip-style safety and the stock does not have the inspector's cartouche. There is a large "U" with two dots on the cheek. No "Circle P" on the stock. No import marks either, as far as I can tell.

Wondering how rare/common these Inland to Underwood line-outs might be. I recently saw an Inland to Rock-Ola go for over $1,400 on G'Broker.

I'll get a couple of pics up, ASAP.

Thanks for any info

Around 24,000 total were made. There were a number of batches ranging from around 200 up to 12,200 receivers each time. It is what I would term scarce, but not rare.
