Got caught up with BRD for the past couple years, but I've been looking for another USGI Carbine the entire time and finally found 1 I liked.

Inland receiver with a Dec 44 marked Inland barrel, National Postal Meter trigger group. I paid more than I wanted to but I've been looking for years for another decent one to go with my CMP Inland.

The Twins (CMP one is a Inland also).

Any tips on places to snag ammo, I've a few 100 rounds in the stash and will be needing more, one of these stays a safe queen and one becomes a full time shooter. I've own several Carbines over the years, both USGI can commercial but sold off most the stash when I started building EBR's

Don, nice carbines.

I order my carbine ammo and buy in quantity for a better price/shipping.
Aim Surplus usually has decent prices and reasonable shipping. A good shopping reference is ammoseek.com. It updates prices constantly and list numerous carbine ammunition brands and sellers. A good site.

I live close to AIM and it looks like they have the cheapest price on ammo right now, I'll snag some ammo next time I'm up that way.

Welcome back, very nice set of twins. I guess that's the first time I said that to a man.

I second the advice on both ammoseek and Aim Surplus... Make a point of avoiding any steel cased ammo - I like the PPU stuff, and the shell casings are great if you reload as well.
