Hi folks,

I own a .30M1 Carbine, unfortunately the front sight has been damaged irreparably.

The Carbine is in mint overall condition, so the spare front sight should match the manufacturer/time-period.

The rifle is made by Quality H.M.C., barrel manufactured 2-44, Serial 4,837,XXX.

I read, that Quality Hardware only manufactured receivers, so, what would be the "right" front sight for my Carbine? Milled or stamped (btw, where is the exact difference and when where they used?)

To the owners of Quality H.M.C. Carbines here at WAF, could you check your front sight, which manufacturer mark/letter your Carbine shows?

Could you let me see pictures of your Q. H. M. C. Carbine front sight in this S/N-range?

Thank you in advance!

A front sight marked PO-Q on top is correct for your serial number range. That is a fabricated type sight.
