Trying to find out info, first off I have heard that qh used parts besides barrels, for there rifles. It has a buffalo arm 9 1942 on the barrel with bomb. Barrel band says ai and has bayonet lug.front sight has a p. The bolt is marked w, and is flat.trigger housing is got a u stamp.the slide has w and x. O, on the op rod. The hammer is stamed wi. It is in prestine condition. Shoots 1.5 to 2 moa all day long. I do have all quality hardware parts. To make it correct or near correct. But if any one can give me info on it, I would be....very greatfull. Like I said I heard they used bolts, sears, trigger housings ect, to complete the rifles. So it could be correct the way it is. But I doubt it that all parts are right. I seen riverbank armory is selling front sights markd p or pi for 350 bucks. Wow.

19203xx is the serial number. Thanks agian for any info. My reloads shoot 2265fps with accurate 4100. It is the cleanest burning powder I've found, and gives top velocity, and accuracy. I'll try to past some pics this week.

Your carbine dates to about September 1943. The Buffalo Arms barrel is most likely original to the carbine. Your carbine sounds like a typical rebuild with all the different parts on it. One word of advise. Stay away from Riverbank. Collectors know of the owner as being of less then good character. He is reputed to sell reproduction parts as original and for the same price as an original.
