I have a m1 rock-ola carbine in great condition i brought it to a gun store that they were not to sure on a value but the owner wanted to give me $1200. for his own collection but it may be worth alot more but i dont know how to go about it. It has a few military markings on the bottom of grip is a "P" in the wood also on the stock it has "AA" stamped in it and 10-38 stenciled on it. Can anyone help me on this??
Hi; What else can you tell use about your carbine? Do you know how many Rock ola parts it has and what parts are not? Does it have any Import marks on barrel? If it is a typical mixmaster then I think it is a good selling price. More info for a better est. GK
From what the local gun dealer said it is all original I have never taken it apart I was watching a you tube video on how to break it down. On the end of the barrel just below sight has rock-ole stamped on it, and the release for the cartage has an "M" stamped on it. What else would I look for and where would I find any other markings?
The AA is for Augusta Armory and would indicate that your carbine has been though a rebuild like 98% of them have. If it has a bayonet lug barrel band and adjustable rear sight then the offer of $1200 is a real good one in my area.
