Lightning strikes again! Found a Un-Quality. It's in serial block 446XXXX, so I assume its late '43. Has a beautiful green tone park with a blued flat bolt. I know it's a rebuild because it has the usual mix of parts. Has a Winchester undated barrel, a Inland trigger housing, I.R.C.O. Adjustable rear sight, Bayonet band and a Winchester low wood oval cut stock with a RMC handguard . A mutt to be sure. The park on the barrel and receiver nearly match
But the trigger housing is just a little darker, but still green in color. Muzzle reads at a little less than 1 on my gauge.

This was the first Un-Quality I have ever seen and worried that I might be jumping in over my head, but I think I did good.

What do the experts out there think? Would love to hear what Tuna thinks about the green park, don't know if its original or not.

Yes, I know I need to take the pics!

Pictures are the best way to judge the finish on your carbine. Sounds nice and I am sure we all would like to see it.

You have a very hard to find receiver. It is probably worth $500 or more by itself at auction. Even as a parts gun, you've got a good one.

Well, after trying to link photos via Photobucket, I suddenly couldn't log in to the forum anymore, so I'm back with a new user name coined by my instructor...

So, here are photos of my de-stocked UN-QUALITY....

Also, in partially answering my own questions, it appears to me that the receiver and barrel, with the rear sight attached, were reparked while still assembled. It's obvious the bolt wasn't there at the time, but I've never seen a parked rear sight...
