I just ordered 5 (not that I really needed any more) at the $9.95 price (plus $12-something shipping). I have the 30-round mags and they work perfectly, so I'm assuming the 15-round mags are just as good.

Cheaper Than Dirt is scalping the same mags for $39.95. I won't be ordering anything from them in the future.

rg1911,

The ad says that the follower is the hold open type. However, the picture shows that the follower will not hold the bolt open after the last round. Kindly inform me when the mags you ordered arrive.

Btw, I have bought the Korean made 30-rounders and they work ok. I remember they were also being sold then at $10 each plus shipping. I may have been in hibernation but have they changed the price post-Sandy Hook tragedy?

Gibbs,

If I recall correctly, the 15-round mags always were $9.95, and the 30-round mags from AIM were right around $14. Someone else may have a clearer memory, but I'm positive the 30-round mags never were $10.

Cheers,
Richard

Richard,

Sorry but I omitted saying that I bought the 30-rounder Korean-made mags from Cheaper than Dirt at $10 some 2 or 3 months ago. I think their 15-round mags from the same manufacturer was selling at $8 at that time.

My total bill for 2 30-rounder mags including postage was about $25.

The same high capacity mags are now selling at $25+ at the CTD website.

Just checked CTD again. This time the 15-rd mags are listed at $24.97 and the 30-rd mags at $29.97. I see they pulled the price back from the $39.95 for the 15-rd mags that it was earlier, but we're still a long way from $10. I'm all in favor of capitalism, but even now they're skating a little too close to the "gouging" line.

Cheers,
Richard

Thank you for posting the information about Aim Surplus. I was able to pick up a few also. I picked a bad time to get addicted to m1 carbines.

Thanks again,
Kevin

The 15 rounders at Aimsurplus show the 15 with the standard M1 follower not the M2 Bolt open follower. Can anyone verify thru experience what they actually received?

It shows $10 shipping to Michigan. If you find something that has free shipping, you may be able to call AIM direct and have them credit your shipping back. That's if the mags will fit in the box the free shipping item is.

AIM has launched a new website and is in the process of it again, so asking what the actual stock is wise.

The geeks updating the website may not know a M1 from an M2 follower

I have bookmarked the AIM 15 round magazine page. Here's to the future!
