Hi , New to the forum . Found a really cool Rock-ola Rifle for sale and I took a bunch of Pictures of it . Looking to Post it on the site . I have the Pics on my IPad and don't have a Host site . Any ideas how I can upload the pics ?
Doesn't appear to be an import stamp on the Barrel so ?
Thanks

RIA is Rock Island Armory probably installed during it's rebuild. Set up an account with photobuckt (Free), load the pictures there and then post that link here. If you load the pics directly onto this site more then 2 your user ID somehow locks up. Others will have to chime in on the serial number, did not know Rock Ola went up to 6200xxx.

The carbine is worth a little over half the asking price.

I agree. That carbine is only worth $800-$850 max. It is a complete rebuild and has almost no original parts.

No typo, the dates are correct. If the book listed the dates as April 13, 1944 thru October 7, 1944 that wouldn't make any sense at all.

Ok . Got a second look at the Rock-ola again today. No Import Stamp and it is Stamped Rock-ola on the Barrel as well.
Price dropped from $1500 to $1200 so ?

Without a complete description of all of the other parts, I haven't changed my opinion at all. From what I saw, I doubt that there are many, if any other Rock-Ola parts in it. It is still a rebuild. It is still highly over-priced.

So It's a Late model Rock-ola with Rock-ola Barrel and Rifling in good condition .
Still Way off at $1200 ?. Love that its a Rock-Ola but its Gonna see some Conservative Shooting as well .
That's the fun of it . Looked around at other " Mix Master Rock-Ola 's can't seem to find a better Gun For the price
at the moment or market condition .

Ok . Thanks Jimb16 I really appreciate the input .
I am thinking about offering $1000 but actively looking at other's at the moment before I " Pull the Trigger " ! So to speak .
Will keep you updated unless you know of a better comparable Gun ?
Thanks
