Turned 52 this year. Commissioned a 2LT in Dec '77 and retired at the end of Dec '03. Started out in artillery, trained as an Arabic-speaking Mid East/North Africa Foreign Area Officer, swapped to military intelligence as a major. Besides my US stations, I had two tours in Germany and one in Tunisia. Graduate of the National War College and spent my last four years - '99-'03 - on the Army staff in the Pentagon.

Air Force all the way! I was 61 on 14 July. I enlisted in 1966 and I had two tours in Viet Nam. I was commissioned in May of 1973 after graduating from Mississippi State University. I went to pilot training at Columbus AFB, MS. Was a T-38 Instructor pilot then flew B-52 G and H models. My last tour of duty, I was the Professor of Aerospace Science at Oklahoma State University's Air Force ROTC Program. I retired from active duty in 1993. I've been teaching Air Force Junior ROTC at Madison Central High School since then.
