I haven't reloaded any .30 Carbine for a couple of years. Went to switch over from my 9mm setup tonight and couldn't find a PTX type powder through expander die in my .30 Carbine dies and powder drop set. I think I must have been using one of the stations for a Lee expander die ahead of the powder drop. Hornady has a .308 PTX expander die. Is that relatively new? I would of thought I'd have had one in my setup. Hate to use one of the stations for a seperate expander die if I don't need to, and am not sure of the exact die set up I was using before. So if there are any Hornady Progressive reloaders here with info about using the .308 PTX die I'd love to hear any advice or info you have on this subject.

Since I posted this last night, a person on the Facebook Hornady AP page said that he thinks the .308 PTX expander is brand new. I ordered one from Midway. It is odd that it isn't listed on Hornady's website yet either by description or by the part number.
