Greetings to all Lovers of the M-1 Carbine. I finally decided to join and learn more about the M-1 Carbine. I can also contribute my limited experience with this piece of Americana as it occurs. I am an avid re-loader and target shooter. My Father carried an M-1 Carbine in the late Fifties spending time in Germany, and Beirut Lebanon. He qualified expert and has nothing but good things to say about this firearm. He had an M-1 Carbine bayonet that I used to wear as a teenager when we would metal detect together. He just recently gave it to me and its still in great shape with the exception of the sheath which needs to be replaced. The leather grip and blade are still very good. I recently acquired a late WW II Winchester. I look forward to discussing all things Carbine especially reloading.
Welcome to the forums. If you need info on reloading then read the posts in the Ammunition and reloading forum. Lots of info on reloading for the carbine there. Oh and look out for these two. They have a habit of finding carbines just laying around and buying them. Come to think of it, we all do.
