Are flat bolts interchangeable with round bolts in the Auto Ordnance M1 Carbine?

Using the term mil-spec loosely...if the AO is mil-spec...then yes. I can swap the round bolt with a USGI flat bolt in my Iver Johnson. As I measure them, they are dimensionally the same, but the round bolts did have some minor dimensional changes for safety, but apparently not enough to matter functionally.
