So from what I gather; the 1005-621-2603 is the NSN, the B028 is signifying that it is for the M1 Carbine, and the MIL-L-644A has to due with the lubricant..

The seller is indicating that it is a WWII magazine, but isn't the 1/58 indicating that it was made/packaged Jan of 1958?

Does the RK MHA MIS have any significance?

I know there is no way of knowing the exact manufacturer of the magazine unless the pouch is opened, but is there a certain, smaller set of manufacturers that possibly would have made this magazine?

Having recently moved, many of my magazines are in storage, so I can't absolutely verify this information. That said, the packaging looks very much like that used with the new made-in-Korea carbine magazines. They're excellent mags, but not WWII or Korean War era.

If I'm incorrect, I hope another member will provide the real information.

If it's a 15 round magazine then it's a repackaging of a WW2 magazine. It can be any of the makers and blued or being a repack it could also be parkerized.
