Found probably 150 magazines in a old pawn shop near where I live. All are in decent shape, all USGI, mixed brands. Are there any I should look for in particular? At ten bucks each, I wish I could afford to buy 'em all!

Rats! Too far to to drive. $10 each is a good price, especially if they're in good condition. An enterprising collector would snatch them up in a second and sell them for $20 each on Ebay, easy.

Hadn't thought of doing that. I am going by later today for 20, about all I can afford at the moment. A buddy got five last week he said they cleaned up real well and all work in his carbine. He also has a bunch NIW, how many I didn't see, wants 20 bucks each for those.

$20 for new-in-wrap is a good deal too. I've paid as much as $35 depending on markings. Just make sure they have no rust. Sometimes the wax paper don't work.

Buy as many as you can. You can post the excess for sale here and get your money back and probably a profit to boot!

for id purposes, Irwin Pedersen mags would be a very good investment.

I checked the 20 I purchased, most are IA with some stamper U. I assume the IA are Inland, the U stamp are Union Hardware? Didn't have time to check through all at the pawnshop, my guess is these two are prevalent as I did sort through for those in best condition.

You are probably correct. BTW, I' considering selling a bunch of GI 15 round mags myself. I'll probably be selling in lots of 10 and for $10 each. ($100 plus shipping) or lots of 5.... If I do, they will be mixed makers and probably not too many A.I. or U. in the lots.Condition varies, but all are functional. You guys let me know if you are interested.
