USN AZ3 from '69 - '73 VA-105 (hench my handle). Our squadron deployed with CVW-3 aboard the USS Saratoga. North Atlantic, Med, and Viet cruises. Blank holder CV-60 (CV comcept), four transits of the equator (Shellback) and two transits of the International Date Line (Sea Dog). Only time I was shot at was by a jealous civilian boyfriend of a cute little number in Jax Fla. Never went back to that again!

Old Fart of 74 with 38 carbines. Got started with an Irwin Pedersen that I got at a local gun shop for $600 in 1992. It just snow balled from there. Spent 1461 days in the Air Force and had to quality on the M1 carbine.

72 years old and still running. USAF 1957-1961. Qualified as Marksman with M1 Carbine and 1911. Worked in ground to air radio maintenance. Might have stayed in if my AFSC was not frozen in rank indefinitely. Too many guys in the same department. Left as A/2C after 4 years.
