51 non-vet. I would have loved to be able to serve our country but I was unable to with only 1 kidney. I even tried the Coast Guard to no avail. I now serve by staying involved in local and national politics telling my representatives what they should be doing, not that they listen any more but November is coming.

I would like to express my deepest thanks to all of you who are veterans. Our country is for ever in your debt!

I'm 53 and retired
Served in the little Luxemburg Infantry Batallion from 74-77 as a rifleman and Jeep driver for my platoon commander. Spent a lot of time in the U.S. Army Baumholder garrison in Germany in these years. I think the First Armored and 8th Infantry Divisions were deployed there at this time.
After that I worked as a police officer in Luxemburg City.
Today I'm restoring International Harvester tractors and cleaning my rifles.
